WHY DOES PHOTOGRAPHY COST SO MUCH?!!!

So when you pay a photographer….
You’re not paying for
someone to take pictures

You’re paying for
someone who knows how to
create photographs.
You’re not paying
for the hour they
spend with you.

You’re paying for
the years it took
to become someone
they can create something
beautiful in that hour.

But more than anything…..
you’re paying for the fact
that your dog walks in
front of their camera,
you don’t have to
know what to do.
They do.

You’re paying for
the cameras, lenses
software, insurance,
education, editing time,
galleries, taxes
business expenses…
And you’re,
their time!

They know where to put your dog.
How to find the light.
How to make your dog feel comfortable.
What fix.
What to leave alone.

That’s the part you can’t see
in the final photograph.
